In the recent online media briefing hosted by Israel in the Philippines, Ambassador Ilan Fluss said that the Israeli government prioritizes the safety of both Israelis, foreigners living in Israel and the Filipinos.
“We give everyone updates and instructions, and there are (bomb) shelters for everyone. The safety of the Filipinos and other foreigners in Israel is our top priority,” Ambassador Fluss said.
Meanwhile, the Department of Foreign Affairs expressed deep concern over the conflict in the Middle East when Israel launched air strikes on June 13, 2025, on Iran.
It also shared its concerns on the region’s stability and the safety of Filipino workers in the affected countries.

The Philippine government called on the Filipinos, especially those with relatives in the region, to remain vigilant and rely on official channels for updates.
“The DFA stands ready to ensure the safety and welfare of overseas Filipinos amid these unfolding events,” the statement added.
