What first started as a local celebration across the streets of Paris has evolved into a global festivity. Originating in France since 1982, Fête de la Musique, also known as Music Day, is now being celebrated in over 700 cities and 120 countries, including the Philippines.

Through Alliance française de Manille, Fête highlights not only the French culture and language but also the beauty of music that unites, uplifts, and inspires communities. Fête is more than just a tradition as it spotlights artistic freedom and human connection together.

“Alliance française de Manille and its partners accept a large participation for this year’s 31st Fête de la Musique edition in the Philippines, with names such as Ely Buendia, Armi Millare or James Reid for the main stage at Ayala Triangle Gardens on June 21, 2025. Fête PH has become over the years one of the largest Fête in Asia Pacific,” says Xavier Leroux, Executive Director of Alliance francaise de Manille.

“This year, we can count the exceptional participation of Japanese and British artists and experts. Fête PH is also the largest multi-stage Festival in the archipelago. Come and enjoy with the Alliance française! The festival is free and an open space with a wide range of events throughout June,” he adds.
