Craving for something French? Maybe a sip of chilled rosé under the trees with your favorite crêpe? You may be wanting to spend the summer museum-hopping in Paris, or watching movie stars in Cannes, jumping on the next Manila-Paris direct flight?

The French culinary festival Goût de France is back at the Makati Street Meet along Paseo de Roxas Avenue on the weekend of May 24 to 25, of course, brought to you by Ayala Land, Taste of France, and Embassy of France to the Philippines and Micronesia with the special participation of Enderun Colleges École Ducasse and Le Cordon Bleu Ateneo de Manila.

French chefs, restaurateurs, distributors, and retailers gather to bring French wines and delicacies to the street for everyone to enjoy.

Go over the French market and let the food and ambiance take you to France. Learn to cook a few dishes from the best French chefs in town, discover new favorites, uncork a bottle or two and chill with loved ones, friends and family.

Go on Saturday, May 24, for a free cooking demo by Chef Marc Chalopin of Enderun Colleges, followed by an electrifying set from our guest DJ JB Bolaños. An evening of culinary artistry and vibrant beats awaits!

At 3 p.m. on Sunday the 25th, witness the Course des garçons de café or Waiter’s Race, a French tradition of café servers competing on who is fastest to bring you an unspilled bottle of cold Evian water!

The weekend market will give you a taste of France, and will make you want for more. Picture yourself in a French market—accordion music in the air, flavors from every corner tempting your taste buds.

Relive your madeleine moment through the magic of French cuisine—only at the Goût de France market, May 24–25.

Bon appétit!
