YLAC Marks Its Third Year, Launches National Agribusiness Case Competition 2025

YLAC 2025: A national 3-day on-site agribusiness case competition now open to all undergraduate students from universities across the Philippines. Participants will have the opportunity to showcase their analytical problem-solving skills, and leadership skills in addressing occuring agribusiness challenges. The winning team can receive up to Php 50,000 cash prize, will also get the chance to engage with industry leaders from the agribusiness talks and networking events with students from different universities to develop their professional career with meaningful learnings.

The highly anticipated Youth Leaders of Agribusiness Congress (YLAC) 2025 is just around the corner, taking place on June 4-6, 2025, at the University of the Philippines Los Baños (UPLB). The third edition of this prestigious three-day on-site national agribusiness case competition is organized by the UP Agribusiness Society (UP ABS) in partnership with the UPLB Department of Agribusiness Management and Entrepreneurship (DAME).

This year, YLAC 2025 opens its doors to all undergraduate students, inviting the brightest minds from across the Philippines in solving agribusiness challenges. The competition enables students to apply their academic knowledge on agribusiness through a “SIBOL: Sowing Ideas and Building Opportunities for the Leaders of Tomorrow” theme while developing their analytical and problem solving skills together with their leadership skills.

With the registration period now closed, the final countdown to the event has begun. Participants can win up to Php 50,000 cash prize for Grand Champion and will also get the chance to engage with industry leaders from the agribusiness talks and networking events with students from different universities to develop their professional career with meaningful learnings. 

YLAC 2025 offers an all-encompassing experience that shows participants what agribusiness is all about and some practical agribusiness situations while developing their leadership abilities and enabling them to build relationships that will serve them after entering agribusiness practice.
