Manila Electric Company (Meralco), led by its Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Manuel V. Pangilinan (front row, center), has committed to serve the additional power requirement of Samsung Electro-Mechanic Philippines Corporation’s (SEMPHIL) expansion of its existing manufacturing plant in Calamba, Laguna.

The two companies have already started technical discussions, as the expansion is seen to be operational in the next couple of years. This power upgrade will provide stable and reliable supply crucial to SEMPHIL’s operations.
