There was a tad less diplomacy and a little more excitement at Tuesday night’s Singapore National Day when an irate patriotic journalist (IPJ) confronted the Chinese ambassador.
IPJ approached the ambassador, who was holding a glass of wine and thought the former was going to shake his hand.
Instead, IPJ told him in a voice loud enough for everyone to hear, “Get out of the West Philippine Sea.”
Even former Defense Secretary Delfin Lorenzana was shocked.
But the kicker is what another ambassador told IPJ: “That wasn’t enough. You should have also told him ‘It’s ours.’”
