THEPHILBIZNEWS is certain that a Cabinet member in the Duterte administration (CMDA) has perjured himself in a House hearing on POGOs.
This CMDA was invited to the hearing to shed light on their (we’re using the politically correct pronoun) involvement in POGOs.
Like any resource person in these hearings, they swore under oath before the lawmakers that they will tell the truth and nothing but the truth.
During the course of the hearing, the CMDA made a statement that was a patent lie.
Our questions for lawyers are: If it can be proved that the CMDA lied, can he be charged with perjury? What other charges can be filed against them? What are the penalties if they’re found guilty?
As they say in the old days, to be continued…
