RCBC Pulz has clinched the coveted spot of the most downloaded app on the Apple App Store, cementing RCBC’s status as a frontrunner in digital banking. From its launch eight months ago, its meteoric rise to the #1 spot in finance apps underscores its unrivaled appeal and utility in the digital sphere.
RCBC Pulz is the flagship digital banking application of the fastest growing bank in the Philippines, packed with pioneering digital banking features and services such as the country’s first digital in-app Unit Investment Trust Fund (UITF), foreign currency exchange up to eight major currencies, remittances, seamless bank transfers, and even financial literacy modules. With just one government I.D and a Philippine or even an international mobile number, Filipinos all over the world can open a digital banking account with RCBC. So far, the RCBC Pulz app has been downloaded by overseas Filipinos in over 30 countries with deposits growing by 43 percent versus December 2023.
Users also flocked to the App Store to download RCBC Pulz, as its predecessor RCBC Digital mobile app, is set to be removed by June 30, 2024.
“Consumer demand for digital banking applications is evolving at such a rapid scale. With RCBC Pulz being the Number One Finance App in the App Store, we have demonstrated that we continue to listen to our customers, respond to their most pressing needs and wants and elevate our solutions to become customer-centric,” Lito Villanueva, RCBC Executive Vice President and Chief Innovations and Inclusion Officer said.
