Filipino bartender vies for Dewar’s Highball Challenge

Hotel Okura Manila’s bartender, Daryl Cadion will be competing at Dewar’s Highball Challenge. Daryl who made it to the top 3 finalists once again proves the Filipino’s creativity and innovation across the industry. He will be showcasing his signature cocktail, the Kokoro To Tamashii using various ingredients.

Speaking to THEPHILBIZNEWS, Daryl Cadion Hotel Okura Manila’s bartender who made it to the Top 3 in the Dewar’s Highball Challenge in the Philippines said he didn’t expect to get into the Top 3. When he was part of the Top 10, he was already happy and honored to be included. But now he is in the Top 3 and waiting to announce the winner who will represent the Philippines to the Dewar’s Highball Challenge Global Competition.

Meanwhile, Addie Capindig, Hotel Okura Manila’s Director for Sales and Marketing said, “We are very happy and proud that Daryl will be competing in the global scene. This only proves that when it comes to creativity, we can always count on Filipinos’ talent. Not to mention our hospitality. With Daryl joining Dewar’s Highball Challenge, this will also draw curiosity about the Philippines and we know that when it comes to excellent service, Filipinos are known for that.”

If selected, Daryl will be competing with other bartenders in the world at the Dewar’s Highball Challenge.
