Veering away from the Western-centric Yultide celebration, Park Inn by Radisson highlights the uniqueness of the Filipino way of celebrating Christmas that resonates with many foreigners who live in the country and experience the festivity and merry-making in the world’s earliest and longest Christmastide.

On November 15, 2023, Park Inn by Radisson North EDSA lights up its Christmas not just to highlight Filipinos’ way of celebrating the birth of the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, but also to remind everyone that amidst all the challenges that everyone encountered in the past two Christmases at the height of the pandemic, the spirit of Christmas lives on beyond merry-making.

This year’s theme is “Ang Diwa ng Pasko” and its core message is to continue to live the Filipino unique values of kindness, hospitality, and generosity by supporting the local community.

Through the well-attended event, guests were in awe and basking with pride in the hotel’s festive atmosphere depicting the Filipino spirit of Christmas. The Christmas tree is complimented with enchanting traditional and locally produced capiz and “parol” decorations sourced from nearby towns of Pampanga to support the livelihood of local artisans and lantern makers that date back 115 years ago.

During the event, guests had the chance to vote for the hotel’s official Christmas card, featuring artworks created by children from the SOS Children’s Villages Philippines. This partnership showcased the hotel’s commitment to support the community through its Responsible Business program.

UE Choral & Vien King

Adding to the enchanting evening, the talented UE Chorale and Mr. Vien King serenaded the guests with all-time Filipino Christmas carols and classical pieces during the musical concert. The hotel also launched its first Holiday Arts and Crafts Bazaar, which will run from November 15 to December 3, to showcase locally crafted products and artworks at the 2nd level. Proceeds from the bazaar will fund the hotel’s sustainability projects.
