To celebrate the 66th Anniversary of the formal establishment of diplomatic relations between Israel and the Philippines, the Israeli Embassy in Manila partnered with the kids from Laura Vicuna Foundation, Inc. to create adorable commemorative cards symbolizing the special friendship between the two nations.
Graced by His Excellency Israeli Ambassador Ilan Fluss, the embassy handpicked the best designs and will be reproduced as holiday cards to contribute to the foundation’s efforts. Guest children were also introduced to delightful Israeli food, offering them a chance to try Israeli flavors for the first time.
Corollary to this, the House of Representatives passed on third the reading a bill setting August 9 as the Philippine-Israel Friendship Day.
