Filipino students in the framework of the EULAT program
Instituto Cervantes de Manila will hold a round table discussion on the building proposals submitted by Filipino architecture students who participated in a contest last October, held in the framework of the EULAT 4 Culture program. For the contest, students from different universities had to design a residential building for a vacant lot in Intramuros.
In this discussion, some of the judges of the contest will be discussing the projects that won first, second and third prize. The judges are Architects Gerard Lico from the University of the Philippines, Rino Fernandez from the University of Santo Tomás, Michael Manalo from the National Commission for Culture and the Arts, and Chairperson of the Intramuros Technical Committee on Architectural Standards, Rancho Arcilla. The winners came from the Technological University of the Philippines, University of Northern Philippines and Mapua University, respectively.
The event will take place on Sunday, February 19, 2023 at 2:00 PM in Instituto Cervantes’ Intramuros branch (Calle Real, Plaza San Luis, Intramuros, Manila). This discussion is open to all and is free of charge. Prior reservation is not required but is encouraged, by sending an email to cenmni@cervantes.es.
