Taking advantage of the momentum that has been gained during the last quarter of 2022, British Chamber of Commerce Philippines Executive Director and Trustee Chris Nelson bared the return of the Great British Festival.

In his TV interview, Nelson said that the decision of the Chamber to revive this festival will create a better appreciation of the British culture in the Philippines through high-quality British brands, music and live performances. Interacting games, food fairs, and fun-filled activities are also to be expected as the event will take place by the weekend — anticipating foot traffic with over 150,000 people and will run from March 25 to 26 (Saturday to Sunday) at BGC, Taguig City.

Nelson explained that there is a high number of Filipinos residing in the UK, stating that “we have over 200,000 Filipinos who live in the UK.”

He then emphasized that the real connection is the camaraderie being shared altogether. “I think the connection is now the people; and the fact that people travel between the two countries,” Nelson said.

Indeed, exciting times await the British Chamber as the event will be a great platform to promote British culture, education, and innovation.
