With the need to bolster the country’s Information Technology and Business Process Management (IT-BPM) industry, government agencies, academe and industry stakeholders, and the Philippine Board of Investments (BOI) pushed for stronger ties to support the industry.

Through its Trade and Industry Development Talks (TIDTalks) platform, the BOI organized the hybrid forum to validate and get valuable insights, and suggestions on the results of the National Skills Mapping Survey for the IT-BPM industry.  The participants concurred with the survey output and vowed to work closely on major initiatives including the conduct of a comprehensive curriculum review, upskilling and retooling of the IT-BPM workforce, effective industry immersion as well as strengthened local and international branding support for Filipino talents and their IT-related works.
