“The Philippine-British Meat Trade Mission is a very exciting opportunity for both the Filipino and British agri-business sectors. Of course, our team in the British Chamber of Commerce Philippines are also excited as this is our first on-ground event since 2020,” Nelson said.
“We were able to host more than 300 webinars in the chamber since the pandemic. With this Meat Trade Mission, I am confident that there will be perfect business matchings that will be done between both companies from the Philippines and the UK,” he said.
“The Philippines has many known world-class and global quality processed meats, not to mention that Filipinos love to eat and meat lovers, too. In the UK, the beef industry has strong demand globally and has earned an excellent reputation for high standards of animal welfare and food safety,” he explained.

Already, the UK pork exports have gained popularity in the Philippines, with this 3-day business opportunity event, the UK also wants to promote British beef in the Philippines for the discriminating Philippine market,” he added.
