Asia Pacific’s fastest growing hospitality company receives further recognition for its workplace culture

Admit it or not, having a supportive working environment and culture lead to productivity. Not to mention that employees retention is also high. This is what the three hotels of Hilton in the Philippines prove as the company was recently recognized for being one of the best companies to work for in the country by an international award winning body.

Needless to say, the recognition was not served on a silver platter Hilton given the fact that Great Place to Work® fine combed its selection process from its global research and consulting firm’s annual workforce study of over 130,000 employees. Hilton’s hotels in the Philippines, namely Conrad Manila, Hilton Clark Sun Valley Resort and Hilton Manila, achieved an 89% rating from its Team Members, earning the global hospitality firm the #3 spot on the 2022 Philippines Best Workplaces list (medium-sized organizations category). Hilton is also the highest-ranked hospitality company to appear on the list.

“This award is testament to the strong and inclusive culture we have built together, one which has continued to grow from strength to strength, guiding us through what has been the most challenging period of our industry. I could not be prouder of our Team Members, who have demonstrated resiliency and teamwork during the pandemic, while amplifying our culture in so many ways possible. Our Team Members will always be the heart of our success, and we remain deeply committed to creating a great workplace for all,” said Alexandra Murray, area vice president, head of South East Asia, Hilton.

During the height of the Covid-19 pandemic,Team Members in the Philippines came together to serve their communities by providing packed meals to frontliners and donating food, amenities and linens to hospitals and Covid care facilities. In response to the pandemic, the company has also continued to identify new ways to increase flexibility and family-focused benefits for Team Members as part of Thrive@Hilton. Through this program, Hilton also provides a variety of resources and programs aimed at attracting, developing and supporting team members at various stages of their careers to support their professional and personal growth.
