The Civic has always been one of Honda’s iconic models globally. Introduced in the Philippines last November 2021, this iconic sedan features a new clean-cut look along with a range of high-tech features, and a standard VTEC turbo engine for a powerful and engaging driving experience. This latest addition in HCPI’s model lineup reaffirms the brand’s commitment to providing top-quality products for the Philippine market.
Its grand concept of “Exhilarating Civic” focuses on a human-centered approach, derived from the Kanji Character “Exhilarating” which itself has the Kanji character for “person” in the middle. This grand concept was derived from Honda’s purpose to continuously understand the market’s demands and develop products that will best serve the lifestyle and expectations of its customers.
The All-New Civic now has a more mature look, keeping it in line with its stablemates. The design was executed with a fine mixture of elegance and sportiness. Upfront, the V variant gets LED Headlights with Daytime Running Lights (DRLs) and LED fog lights. For the wheels, the mid-range V variant features 17–inch alloys. The entire rear end has also been redone, having a new pair of LED taillights that elegantly illuminates in the night.
For in-car entertainment, the All-New Civic V Turbo comes with a 7-inch touchscreen display audio with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay that is mated to an 8–speaker audio system. Other standard convenience features on the V variant include automatic climate control, rear air vents, and a 7–inch digital display with an analog speedometer. The digital display is customizable, capable of displaying audio or vehicle information, selectable through the steering wheel-mounted controls.
One of the main highlights of the 11th generation All–New Civic is the 1.5-liter 4-Cylinder DOHC VTEC Turbo engine found in all grades. The latest model now has an all–Turbo variant range that produces 178 PS and 240Nm of torque. All trims of the Civic are paired with a Continuously Variable Transmission (CVT). This compact sedan gets distinct driving modes including Econ and Normal.
