As the Philippines’ healthcare system continues to rise above the challenge of the COVID-19 surge in the country, Yuchengco-led Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) provides support to teachers, transport network vehicle service (TNVS) personnel, essential workers, and other frontliners with free telemedicine services via the DiskarTech super app.

Through its TelemediWOW promo, the first 1000 frontliners and riders will be able to avail of the app’s unlimited one-month teleconsultation service for free until March 31. To avail of this promo, frontliners who have downloaded DiskarTech and registered their accounts must subscribe to DiskarTech’s Telekonsulta Unli service for only Php50. As soon as they register, they are guaranteed with a 100-percent cashback.

With the challenges on the ground making face-to-face consultation nearly impossible and basic healthcare less accessible, patients who would opt to do virtual medical consultations will benefit from DiskarTech’s Unli Telekonsulta. For a minimum fee, users who subscribe to the service will be able to avail of unlimited medical consultation and 24/7 access to nurses and doctors via DiskarTech’s partner, Philippine Natural Telehealth. The service offers video, audio, and text-based service interaction with no additional charge. Follow up services and electronic prescriptions, laboratory requests, and medical certificates are also included in the plan.

“DiskarTech as the ‘app ng masa,’ is one with the Filipino frontliners in responding to the challenges amid the pandemic. We want to make sure that those who take care of our needs are being taken care of by offering them free medical consultations at their convenience,” said Lito Villanueva, RCBC’s Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation and Inclusion Officer.
