Mindful of the hardships of those who were affected by the supertyphoon Odette, The Bellevue Resort continues its advocacy in providing meaningful hospitality service into helping the needs of the community, to inspire and move people into positive actions to live up to their commitment.
With many communities deeply affected by the super typhoon Odette in Bohol, The Bellevue Resort led initiatives and various donation drives aiming to raise funds to deliver aid to the remote victims – organizing relief operations and mobilizing volunteers to extend immediate assistance in disaster battered communities in the province.
Bellevue Bohol volunteers distributed relief packs with rice, salt, sugar, canned goods, blankets, and hygiene kits.
The Resort’s relief operations helped respond to thousands of families in need which was made possible with the assistance and support of its partners, donors, and volunteers.
The typhoon Odette landfall caused massive devastation which affected the water supply in the province and power lines, causing blackouts. A hundred Boholano indigent families can now start lighting their way to rehabilitation with solar-powered lamps donated by The Bellevue Group.
The 5-star resort also provided clean water to local communities with over a thousand families in
Panglao Island to help them during the water scarcity.
The Bellevue Resort extends their gratitude to those who helped and contributed to the recovery efforts for
Bohol, like actress Gabbi Garcia, actor Khalil Ramos, the Bohol External Resources Facilitation Unit known
as Hugop Bohol, and to all those who donated and tirelessly helped in its relief operations that truly uphold
solidarity and philanthropic spirit amid great adversity.
Since its opening in 2013, the luxurious and eco-friendly resort has been consistently spearheading
meaningful initiatives — leading responsible tourism in Bohol, in its efforts to highlight the importance of
playing an active role in helping the community where it operates.
