Before the year closes, Yuchengco-led Rizal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) continues to cement its place in the country’s digital innovation landscape as it bags more international recognition.
For its remarkable digital initiatives and inclusive finance solutions, RCBC’s DiskarTech was given the Best in Service and Solution award by the International Innovation Awards (IIA) 2021 organized by Enterprise Asia, a leading non-governmental organization that promotes the role of entrepreneurship in achieving sustainable and progressive socioeconomic development in the region.
The IIA recognizes outstanding innovations across different industries worldwide that have exhibited remarkable contributions in the categories of Product, Service and Solution, and Organization and Culture. Winners of each category were judged using a stringent set of metrics and audit interviews to determine how the innovations significantly impacted the communities they serve while at the same time making their businesses sustainable.
Aside from the IIA 2021, RCBC’s DiskarTech was also recognized by the London-based Global Banking & Finance Review as part of The Next 100 Global Awards for 2021.
The distinction is given to the top 100 companies that “act as catalysts” in the banking and finance industry through their groundbreaking strategies and achievements, and their leadership and dedication to continue providing excellent innovations that prioritize the needs of their customers.
RCBC’s DiskarTech made it to the roster of the next top 100 companies for its outstanding commitment in promoting inclusive digital finance in the Philippines, particularly to the mass market.
