After just winning bronze at the Cannes Lions, GIGIL accomplishes another feat for RC Cola.

RC Cola ‘Family’ has been shortlisted by the APAC Effie Awards—the international gold standard of the marketing effectiveness of advertising ideas. GIGIL’s film has been declared finalist in two categories: ‘Beverages – Non-Alcohol’ and ‘Youth Marketing.’

Apart from being chosen by adobo magazine as the country’s ‘best ad of 2020’ and becoming a Philippine pop culture phenomenon, RC Cola ‘Family’ helped boost the sales of RC Cola Mega by 67%.

It has also brought home creative trophies previously from the ADFEST, Australian AWARD Awards, and The One Show, building the case that award-winning advertising builds a brand’s business.

The Asia Pacific Effie Awards honors the region’s most outstanding marketing communications works that have proven results in meeting strategic objectives. It aims to lead, inspire, and champion practices of marketing effectiveness excellence in the Asia Pacific region, and provides the growing industry with a regional platform where the best campaigns are celebrated.

The winners will be announced in Singapore this September 2021.
