#RespetoNamanBohol worked to create a safe space for victims and survivors to be heard and to be able to share their stories. It also hoped to break the silence surrounding the the factors that lead to violence against women such as sexist and misogynistic attitudes, patriarchal views, and other socio-cultural, legal, economic and political realties.

The speakers and reactors shared their insights and observations regarding experiences of gender-based violence in Bohol. They highlighted interventions through policy and community action. Most importantly, they affirmed the practice of respect, awareness, and solidarity, as these attitudes counter prevalent and age-old injustices.
