The government and private sectors synergize to address the growing need for reliable, stable and sustainable power supply amid a global pandemic and beyond. This  will be highlighted, as the Philippines hosts the 23rd Conference of the Electricity Power Supply Industry (CEPSI) on November 4,11, 18 and 25, 2021.

Organized by the Association of Electricity Supply Industry of East Asia and the Western Pacific (AESIEAP) – the largest organization of power and industry companies in the region – the hosting of the CEPSI 2021 is spearheaded by the Philippines’ Department of Energy, Manila Electric Company, National Power Corporation, National Grid Corporation of the Philippines, National Transmission Corporation and the Department of Tourism.

“The Department of Energy fully supports the hosting of CEPSI 2021. This event would provide us with another opportunity to show the international community what the Philippines, as a partner, has to offer in various energy undertakings. With the different sessions and discussions we have in store for the participants, we are sure that everyone would gain invaluable insights on how the energy industry continues to empower communities worldwide,” Energy Secretary Alfonso G. Cusi emphasized.

The CEPSI 2021’s program and speakers will share valuable insights, innovation and government policies to assist both public and private sector in managing the challenges faced by the power industry in the Philippines and in the region.

Interested participants can now submit their technical papers  presentations that promote innovative solutions and best practices at https://aesieap.com/cepsi-2021/abstract-submission/.  Deadline for abstract submission is on July 31.  Online registration for delegates  will open in July , 2021.

“Maintaining a stable and reliable energy supply amid quarantine measures restricting the movement of people and goods continue to be a daunting task not just for the Philippines but also for regional energy industry stakeholders.
