Nissan in the Philippines stays true in its commitment to enrich the lives of Filipinos with a donation of 4,000 meal packs to medical frontliners fighting against the COVID-19 pandemic at the Philippine General Hospital (PGH).

Members of Urvan Pilipinas car club also showed their support to the healthcare workers by helping in the delivery of the meals to the hospital.

Dr. Gerardo “Gap” Legaspi, Director of PGH, was present in the donation drive to represent PGH and personally receive the meal donations. The meals were distributed to the PGH staff, doctors, and nurses who are working hard to treat COVID-19 patients and facilitate vaccinations.

“We continue to pay tribute to our healthcare workers who are dedicated to face this pandemic as part of our vision to enrich people’s lives. We want to give our support to our communities especially in any way we can during these challenging times, especially those who share our bold and daring spirit to overcome odds,” says Atsushi Najima, President and Managing Director of Nissan in the Philippines.

Previously, Nissan in the Philippines distributed and donated meals to healthcare frontliners across various medical facilities in Metro Manila, such as the Research Institute of Tropical Medicine (RITM). Nissan dealerships in the country have also conducted similar efforts to honor the dedication of frontline workers in their communities.
