Who inspires you? Really.  If not who, what is it that builds up that fire within you to do better, to focus on winning your battles, get past issues and bore through obstacles in your life, whatever they may be?  I ask this question because this week I have been thinking of regular people who breathed power into themselves somehow and suddenly changed the world.

Helen Keller, Maya Angelou, Mother Teresa… Tony Robbins, Mahatma Gandhi and Albert Einstein.  I may not know everything to know about them, but I am certain that they defied all obstacles and negative thoughts that kept on telling them, they couldn’t.  Not stopping there, I am so sure that they also lifted themselves up when they fell; and I bet you that they failed a lot!  Obviously, they didn’t give up.

People are all just people.  Remember that.  What sets others apart are passion, resilience and patience that make things worth failing in and getting up for.

If you’re sick, or someone you know is sick, be sad. It’s ok, but after grief, accept it.  Throughout your journey, keep finding a way to get better, too.  Don’t fall into a pity party.  Please.  The body is more likely to get better if the mind is set on willing it.  The will to get better does not exist in pity parties; and the mind’s corrective messages may likely be difficult to be understood by the body, too, if you’re in rage.  Healing comes where peace is at.  So, work on peace and love.

If you’re afraid, find your means to face your fears.  Courage is not the absence of fear, but rather, it is taking action despite the fear.  Focus your attention on what really matters.  You, being free from the bondage of your anxieties.  Meditate, exercise and live!

If you’re always angry, realize that you’re in pain.  Love yourself more and nourish your need for peace. Breathe, my friend. Deep breaths.  Release the tension to relax, because situations don’t get better (instead these can get worse) in fury.

I ask, again.  Who inspires you, or what is it inside you that builds up that fire within you to do better, to focus on winning your battles, get past issues and bore through obstacles in your life, whatever they may be?  Think about this, seriously, because when you are aware of your answers and follow your heart to become a better you each day, be proud.  You, too, are changing the world.
