With the gradual opening of the economy and many hotels are back in business, these present many silver linings to many investors.
PRIMEX Corporation’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Primex Realty Corporation has announced the signing of a hotel management agreement with world-renowned Accor for its Pullman Manila at Primex Tower.
The 200-room 5-star hotel which is eyed to be completed in 2023 will be housed within one of the tallest mixed-use edifices in the bustling metropolis and only one of a few with a commanding and refreshing view of the lush greens of two golf courses.
Furthermore, Primex Tower will incorporate retail and office spaces on the lower floors, while the premium hotel will be situated in the topmost ten floors. This 50-storey glass tower is located in near proximity with the upscale Filipino-Chinese residential enclave in gated Greenhills, and is within walking distance of the famous Greenhills Shopping Complex.
Pullman Manila at Primex Tower will boast two restaurants, a lobby lounge and a rooftop bar with a dramatic view of the Metro Manila skyline. The hotel will also feature a fitness centre and a swimming pool to encourage guests to stay on top of their game with extensive fitness offerings focused on inspiring the mind and energizing the body. Dynamic meeting and events facilities will include a ballroom, private meeting rooms and a well-equipped business centre designed to foster collaboration and creativity under the Pullman brand’s MEET/PLAY concept.
“We are delighted to be working with the owners of Primex in this exciting Pullman Hotel in the Philippines as it underscores a great reflection of our confidence in the rebound of tourism in the Philippines. This is a great market that will continue to thrive in the long-term due to its great potential driven by economic development, natural attractions, the people’s warm hospitality and the ongoing improvement of transport infrastructure. It is also a testament of our commitment to the Philippines as one of the key growth destinations in Asia and the positive prospects for the tourism sector,” said Andrew Langdon, Senior Vice President for Development, Accor, Southeast Asia, Japan and South Korea.
Accor currently operates seven hotels in the Greater Manila area which welcomed over five million visitors by air in 2019. The hospitality group continues to rapidly expand in the Philippines, with the signing of Pullman Manila at Primex Tower joining a pipeline of 16 hotels scheduled to open across the country in the next five years.
Karlvin L. Ang, Executive Vice President and Director of the Primex Group of Companies, commented, “We are very pleased to be partnering with Accor as we welcome an energizing hospitality offering at Primex Tower. We strongly believe Pullman Manila is the perfect fit for this landmark development as it allows visitors to stay connected and engaged with a range of pioneering amenities that is perfect for both work and play.
