“We are hitting two birds with one stone by making our Goodday Cultured Milk exciting to the Philippine market as both young and the adult market will have an option to choose from. They can enjoy classic, strawberry, or mango flavors. But they are all the same specially formulated strain of Paraprobiotics in every bottle – a proud development of Japanese technology in partnership with major dairy conglomerate Morinaga Milk Japan,” Ragavan explained.

“Furthermore, this special strain is clinically proven to help improve intestinal health and natural resistance – a benefit that is very much relevant in today’s time. It proved to us that Goodday is indeed the right brand for our very first foray into the Philippine beverage market.”

According to Ravagan, Goodday’s good bacteria or Paraprobiotics (Lactobacillus Paracasei MCC1849), coupled with proper diet and exercise, will certainly help improve one’s intestinal health and natural resistance.

“You can drink as much Goodday cultured milk every day. It is healthy and will surely pave the way for keeping you healthy especially in a time when the need for a strong immune system given the threat of coronavirus pandemic,” she added.

Research and Development

Interestingly, the product development of the flavored variants strawberry and mango was painstakingly researched and developed especially on the Philippine mango taste profile.

“Product appeal is essential and this led to the product launched after the tastes are perfected. We ensured that those variants with a taste profile catering to the Filipino palate and maintaining functionality are very critical for every consumer,” added Ragavan.

“With the combined with the health benefits of our specially developed strain of Paraprobiotics from Japan, the Research and Development team spent around 2 years to get the right taste that most Filipinos will enjoy every day,” she explained.

With a deep understanding of the Filipino’s preferred taste profile, Goodday takes pride in launching three delicious flavors, the Original, Mango, and Strawberry which are available at 7-Eleven stores and leading supermarkets nationwide.
