Universitas Gadjah Mada, Indonesia (UGM, Indonesia), together with ASEAN University Network (AUN) and University of Agder (UiA, Norway), offer a collaborative MBA program that brings together various academic and practical perspectives to engage with pressing sustainability challenges.
The ASEAN Master’s program in Sustainability Management recently earned the formal Norwegian accreditation as a joint degree between UiA and UGM, providing an overview leading economic development towards environmental sustainability.
“It is exciting to see how academic institutions, from Norway and ASEAN, join together be part of a deeper understanding of environmental problems and solutions,” said the Norwegian Ambassador to the Philippines Bjørn Jahnsen.
“Collaborative knowledge from several disciplines can potentially redefine the global problems on the global climate problems, and redefine a new understanding of how we could further achieve our Sustainable Development Goals,” he added.
The Norwegian Ministry of Foreign Affairs financially supports the program, where 20 of only 30 students per batch shall be from countries from the Philippines and other countries in the ASEAN region.
