Ensuring that the country’s law enforcers are in tiptop shape as they prevent crimes, maintain peace and order, and ensure public safety and internal security, the Cardinal Santos Medical Center (CSMC) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) signed a Memorandum of Agreement last November 9 that will allow members of the PNP to have access to CSMC for their hospitalization and other diagnostic and therapeutic medical needs.
The agreement was signed by outgoing PNP Chief Police General Camilo Pancratius Cascolan and the President and CEO of Cardinal Santos Medical Center, Raul Pagdanganan at Camp Crame in Quezon City.
Also present during the ceremony were the Executive Director of CSMC’s Philippine Center for Advanced Surgery, Dr. Alfred Allen Buenafe, and the Director of the Health Service, Police Brigadier General Ronaldo Olay.
The agreement also builds a deeper relationship between CSMC and the PNP, as the hospital will endeavor to help PNP medical professional personnel maximize their capabilities through training and skills development.
