They said, “Curiosity killed the cat.” But not in the case of the 25-year old single mo, Imelda Dela Cruz Pabon of San Ildefonso, Bulacan.

Needless to say, it actually got the best of her when she chanced upon this new financial super app being promoted on her social media wall. Seeing the promise of a big return she didn’t waste time downloading the Diskartech app. She was allured by the cash incentive for every referral one makes. “Kada isang refer mo is 30 pesos kaya posible po talaga makapag 30,000 pesos,” shared Imelda.

She lost no time in referring the app through her social media accounts and on the first week alone she earned P2,500. Her referrals snowballed to a total of one thousand ninety four by end of August 2020 giving her a total earning of P32,820. “Super, super po talaga laking tulong sa akin”, she quipped.

With her salary as an agent in a telecom company, Imelda could hardly make both ends meet. She was widowed at age 21 and since then she single-handedly supported her children and her mother. DiskarTech is now her invaluable partner. Her income from doing referrals have significantly augmented her means of livelihood. “Ginamit ko po ang aking kinita sa pagtulong sa pangaraw-araw na gastusin”, said the single mother of two.

Imelda leads the top 20 August referrers of DiskarTech, RCBC’s newest craze. App downloads already hit 3 million in three months since it was launched in July 2020.

“This is truly remarkable and we owe it to the public who supported and downloaded the app. We are committing to making it more beneficial to the financial goals of our clients”, said Lito Villanueva, Executive Vice President and Chief Innovation & Inclusion Officer.

DiskarTech is the first and only Taglish inclusion app targeting the masses who are mostly unbanked and underserved by regular banks. It is an all-in-one online banking service for paying bills, sending money and buying mobile load. What makes it more exciting is that one can also open a savings account with no required maintaining balance and gives 3.25% interest. You can also get a microinsurance using the app for as low as P20 with a face protection cover of P70,000 for six months. It is a real-time withdrawal and deposit transactions so there’s no need to line up in the branch. It’s practically banking at the palm of your hands.

ASIAMONEY, Asia’s premiere financial publications, named RIzal Commercial Banking Corporation (RCBC) as the 2020 Best Digital Bank in the Philippines because of this breakthrough.

The Diskartech inclusion super app has a life-changing impact in easing the financial burden of the Filipinos especially during the Covid-19 pandemic.

Imelda looks forward to more fruitful partnership with DiskarTech in the years to come. “Araw-araw po ako Nagre-refer at nagpo-promote sa Youtube at Facebook account ko”, she shared.
