If there’s one thing TCL understands about its Philippine market, it is the family bond that strengthens around the TV set at home. And as far as the global smart product manufacturer is concerned, Filipinos’ penchant for watching TV and movies at home is about to get exciting like never before.

Last August 25, TCL Philippines launched its state-of-the-art television and whitelines models at SM Mega Mall Event Center in Mandaluyong City, promising a more exciting view of home entertainment.

TCL Philippines Product Evangelist Jerald Poblacion wowed the crowd as he presented TCL’s new P8 TV Series that smoothly interfaces with the latest Android TV OS 9.0 and supports Google Assistant, the user-friendly built-in virtual assistant that can connect with modern devices for the best smart home experience.

The P8S, Poblacion said, is TCL’s top-of-the-line model and features an ergonomic design and Wide Color Gamut that enhances color reproduction, with up to 90% NTSC color accuracy, and HDR10+ that provides dynamic contrast for better picture quality.

“It would certainly rock everyone on their seats as they watch and experience the unparalleled video and sound from TCL’s top of the line TV,” he said.

The TCL’s P8 TV Series comes in three models P8, P8M, and P8S and all have 4K Ultra High Definition screen resolution, HDR 10 support, built-in Chromecast capability, Micro Dimming function, and Dolby Audio integration.

Smarter, healthier products for PH

But that’s not all. TCL Philippines CEO Steven Zhang said he had profound joy in announcing that they were bringing in to the local market more of TCL’s latest innovations in their global consumer electronics products.

“We are very proud and honored to introduce to you TCL’s latest TCL home electronics products to the Philippines. I know that a lot of Filipinos are longing to have access to technologically-advanced and affordable home appliances, and this is the reason why TCL came into being,” said Zhang.

“It is TCL’s ardent desire being one of the world’s leading consumer electronics companies to provide quality and affordable electronic products to as many Filipino families as possible, hence we are now here to roll out the latests TCL products,” he added.

One of these is TCL’s air purifier, which was developed for two mains reasons: one, to ensure that every family is protected from the airborne microorganism particles that are not visible to our eyes; and two, to guard against the main causes of respiratory ailments such as  allergies, asthma, and pathogenic infections of the respiratory tract.

While there are several air purifiers available in the market, TCL’s four models are equipped with carbon compound and HEPA filters that clean the air. The best health and quality of life in mind when TCL developed its air purifiers, every model has a dust removal rate of up to 99.5% and bacterial removal rate of 99.9%.

In marketing this product, TCL executives said they believe that everyone has the right to have access to affordable and high-quality air purifiers in the country.

Comfort cool for all

Also introduced at the TCL product launch were the W Series Inverter Window Air-Conditioner and PortaCool Air-Conditioner.

When asked by THEPHILBIZNEWS why they came up with PortaCool Air-Conditioner, TCL Business Unit Manager for Whitelines Jay Guanzon said: “Given the fact that Philippines is a tropical country, and air-conditioning units are expensive, the TCL PortaCool is not the typical air-condition unit that is fixed. You take it with you, move from one room to another or even bring with you when you go out of town.”

TCL’s idea is not just to make comfort cooling affordable, but enjoyable without having to bear the exorbitant cost of electricity bills.

Guanzon added: “That is why when we designed this, our research and development team made sure that all other factors are considered for the Philippine market and, by giving flexibility to the user. The PortaCool is equipped with casters and removable window kit and exhaust, sans the need for expensive drilling and tiring installations of air-conditioners. This also comes with dual fan motors for quicker cooling of the area and dual condenser technology that eliminates the need for water draining and can cool up to 20 square meters. Very ideal for standard condo unit.

With TCL Philippines’ continuous growth and development, consumers are assured of the latest technological features and high-quality products TCL has always been known for here and in the global market.
