Las Vegas, Nevada – Official weigh-in results: Pacquiao 146, Broner 146.5
The official weigh-ins for People’s Champ Manny Pacquiao and Adrien Broner is over, wherein both Pacquiao and Broner successfully made the welterweight limit of 147 pounds at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in the official weigh-in ceremony.
Pacquiao weighed at 146 pounds, while Broner 146.5 pounds which is within the welterweight limit of 147 pounds.
The Boxing Senator also dubbed as Pambansang Kamao will defend his WBA welterweight title Saturday (Sunday Manila time) against the 29 years old challenger, Broner.
Pacquiao currently holds a record of 60-7-2, 39 KOs, while Broner has 33-3-1-1, 24 KOs.
Pacquiao will face his younger challenger and put in line his WBA welterweight belt. But despite the much younger challenger, it is interesting to note that the Filipino boxing icon remains to be the favorite with 3-to-1 over the American challenger.
