In its commitment to support the MSMEs in the country, the Philippine Trade Training Center (PTTC) embarks on a training session on Food Shelf Life Study:Its principles and basic concepts.
With the growing number of entrepreneurs venturing into food processing business either home based, backyard business and micro-processing plant, PTTC sees the needs to support them while targetting the local market, and at the same time preparing for global market given the fact that the recent programs of PTTC during the MSME Development Week, focused on Digital Marketing held last July 12-13, 2018 at PTTC Pasay City.
The guest lecturer is UP Professor Dr. Lotis Francisco and the seminar was attended by more than 50 participants from the Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) in the processed food industry. Held at the PTTC in Pasay City on July 31, 2018.
PTTC Executive Director Nestor Palabyab emphasized the importance of continuing education for all the MSMEs because the global competition is real. “If we will not equip our entrepreneurs with the right knowledge, skills, attitude and values, our neighbors in the Asean regions will leave us behind. That is the reason that we at the PTTC are always thinking of ways to provide all the supports needed by our compatriots. We make sure that they are updated with the latest trends and product innovations in their industry.”
