Tomorrow, it would be another exciting ballgame between Sister Teams, San Miguel Beermen and the Barangay Ginebra Gin Kings on the resumption of the PBA Commissioner’s Cup Finals at the Smart Araneta Coliseum tomorrow night.
According to Ginebra Coach Tim Cone, “The Gin Kings caught SMB by surprise in Game One, and in turn, the Gin Kings was caught by surprise in Game Two. For sure, there will be many surprises going into Game Three as both teams will be out there to grind out a win.”
Meanwhile San Miguel ace guard Alex Cabagnot said, “I expect our team to be ready knowing that coach Tim Cone is a great coach. He’s one of the greatest coaches that the PBA has with 20 championships. That means we have to do everything to win.”
The Gin Kings crashed the Beermen in Game One 127-99, but the Beermen bounced back in Game Twowith 134-109 that forced to have a Game 3.
Everybody expects that it would be another exciting game between the Sister Teams.
Meanwhile, SMB coach Leo Austria said, “The real heroes in Game Two were June Mar Fajardo and Renaldo Balkman whose outside shooting and dominance at the paint in the most crucial factors made us win the Game 2.”
While the momentum is on San Miguel Beermen, Barangay Ginebra Coach Tim Cone will make sure his boys are ready to give their Sister Team a hard time. “There’s no love lost between these sister teams. I don’t think it’s going to be laid down for either team,” he said. “We’re coming out hard.”
