A good friend got in touch with me and texted me worth sharing with my readers on what we are going through now with the pandemic that hit us and the entire world called Coronavirus/COVID 19.

The recent past has been tough for us.  But Heidi Sison has some comforting words to share.  Briefly: “It is called ATTITUDE… The world is full of good seeds and bad seeds.  We exist together… An individual does not compete with another… We compete with ourselves… We ought to be able to say that I am a better person today than yesterday… Concentrate on your own spiritual ascension and not on anyone’s failure to recognize his own ascendancy.”

“Remember life is a choice.  I choose to concentrate on the positive things that are still there… When I wake up in the morning, I choose to see the beauty in the rain and not to look out of the window covered with rain.  In a pandemic world that exists today, I see the good things that will come out of it.  I choose to anticipate the excitement of a new world.  My God is not giving me ugly old earth.  He is omnipotently in everyone’s journey.  God is beautiful.  He is never ugly.  Follow him.”

Briefly, what Heidi told me is “when we wake up in the morning, look at the world as a clear day.”  Thanks, Heidi.  You’ve always had a positive thinking and very colorful thoughts to share.  I remember those days, decades ago when you and I used to have laughter together.  You enjoyed laughing and being happy; and so did I.

Could this spike we are going through now have something to do with a new strain?  According to a friend assigned in Hanoi, a new strain of the COVID 19 has appeared in Danang very recently.  It’s a town in the middle of Vietnam; about 200 kilometers from Saigon and also about 200 kilometers to the north, Hanoi.

This brings to mind what Mr. Toni Akinyemi, a nutritional consultant had to say about vaccines against the Coronavirus.  “Vaccine is not the only option for all the viral infections that the world has ever experienced, how many of them have vaccines that are able to protect people sufficiently? NOT ONE.”

People who get flu shots must keep on getting vaccines every year.

This particular COVID-19 virus mutates quickly that even if you have yourself vaccinated that is tested and effective today, in 3 months or in 6 months, another variant comes out that would call for another vaccine for that particular strain because a virus mutates to another variant or strain.

Mr. Akinyemi goes on to say that the current vaccine that different laboratories are trying to develop now for this particular COVID-19 is not the typical vaccine that we are used to.  He said that the typical vaccine that we are used to is that they take a virus – a weakened virus – and pump it into a person’s body to stimulate an immune reaction.  The body develops antibodies against that weakened virus.  So next time the body is exposed to the real virus, the body already knows how to fight it.

That is the principle of vaccination.  But the particular vaccine that the laboratories are trying to develop now is NOT the type of vaccine we are used to.  None like it has ever been developed in the whole world and used in humans.  NONE.  This is the first time they are trying to develop this type of vaccine.  It is called the RNA-DNA nucleic vaccine.  What it does is take the genetic material of the virus – not a weakened virus – the genes of the COVID-19 virus is taken and inject it into the human body to fuse with the human gene.  Scientifically speaking, that is genetic modification.  It’s a new type of vaccine that has never been approved for human use.  A trial was done on animals and it proved disastrous.  It was banned.

Now the same untested vaccine is being peddled and about to be administered making it mandatory to everyone.  “The mandatory-ness of that vaccination is a violation of our human rights.”

Vaccines serve as one option.  But there are natural substances that can equally serve to help strengthen our immunity and protect us.

There are natural substances we can resort to such as Zinc, Vitamin C, turmeric, garlic, omega-3 oil, cinnamon, cayenne pepper…etc. which I have written about in my past columns.

The reason I had to expound on it again is to guide us that there are natural substances that can fight the COVID-19.  It is not only a vaccine that can help us combat this virus.  I have described it thoroughly in another column.

The problem with the vaccine is it only addresses a particular virus.  We have to take into consideration that the viruses mutate into other strains which kind of invalidates the strength of the vaccine that it was meant to address.

I say this from personal experience.  My doctor-specialist who gives me the vaccines I need could not give it to me last year because a new vaccine has not yet come out.  Did I ask why? Evidently there appeared a new strain on that particular vaccine and until such time the new vaccine comes out, I’ll just have to wait for the usual shot I’ve been given before cannot be administered to anyone anymore.  It’s no longer effective.
