Manuel V. Pangilinan-led One Meralco Foundation (OMF), the social development arm of the Manila Electric Company (Meralco), has extended assistance to Manila Boystown Complex, an orphanage under the City of Manila, by helping improve safety within its facilities.

In partnership with Meralco, OMF replaced old, leaning private utility poles inside the compound with new and more stable installations to ensure the safety of staff and children under its care.

The turnover of the newly installed poles was led by Manila City officials, including Mayor Isko Moreno and Vice Mayor Chi Atienza, together with OMF President Jeffrey Tarayao and employee volunteers from the España, Malate Business Centers, and the Manila Sector.
