Held last October 16, 2018 at the Manila Marriott Hotel, where leaders, businessmen, movers and shakers from various industries gathered together for a night of jubilation, excellence and inspiration.

The prestigious and one of the country’s most envied events is presented by PLDT Enterprise.

There were 14 Title Categories awarded in the Asia CEO Awards 2018 that were given to the most deserving awardees amongst the crème de la crème and these are the following categories and their respective sponsors: CNN Philippines for Executive Leadership Team of the Year, Healthway Medical for Wellness Company of the Year, ICM for CSR Company of the Year, I-Remit for Heart for OFW’s Company, JLL Expatriate Executive of the Year, Kalibrr for Top Employer of the Year, LBC Business Solutions for SME of the Year, PhilAm Life for Young Leader of the Year, Regus for Entrepreneur of the Year, Sitel for Service Excellence Company of the Year, Smart Enterprise for Global Filipino Executive of the Year,  SPi Global for Technology Company of the Year, United Neon for Most Innovative Company of the Year, and WEnergy Global for Green Company of the Year.

The momentous night in the country was also celebrated with the music from the HEArt heavenly rendered by Baseco Choir, Opera Belles, Harana and Opus One.

The Asia CEO Awards 2018 also bestowed Lifetime Contributor Awards to Tessie Sy-Coson, SM Investments Vice Chairwoman and to former Central Bank of the Philippines Governor, Amando Tetangco.

The Lifetime Contributor Award is given only to the individuals who have dedicated their life to their passion of serving their fellow countrymen and the country. They are recognized for their relentless service to the Filipino people, and the excellence that they commit themselves to in the work that they do.

Tessie Sy-Coson, SM Investments Vice Chairwoman and the eldest daughter of Henry Sy, Sr. Founder of SM Group and known as country’s business mogul, investor, and philanthropist, received the much coveted Lifetime Contributor Awards during Asia CEO Awards 2018 at the Manila Marriott Hotel in Pasay City, last October 16, 2018.

The Lifetime Contributor Award is given only to the individuals who have dedicated their life to their passion of serving their fellow countrymen and the country. They are recognized for their relentless service to the Filipino people, and the excellence that they commit themselves to in the work that they do.

In the Asia CEO Awards 2018 night which was attended by leaders, businessmen, movers and shakers from various industries, two outstanding leaders have been awarded this prestigious awards.

Tessie Sy steered BDO to become the country’s largest banking group. Now being the Vice Chair of the SM Investment Corp., she plays a key role in guiding other businesses to become the leader and dominate the diverse business ventures they choose.

In her speech, the Vice Chair of the SM Investment Corp., thanked the Asia CEO Awards 2018 committee for choosing her and she committed to continue to become the country’s game changer and innovator in whatever investment they choose and be able to create more jobs for the Filipino people for the growth and development of the country.

The other recipient of the Lifetime Contributor Award was former governor of Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas, Amando Tetangco.
