With the opening of the final 11-kilometer segment of the TPLEX, it is expected to further reduce travel time from Tarlac to Rosario to just one hour from three-and-a-half hours, and Metro Manila-to-Baguio from six hours to just three-and-a-half hours.

The Private Infra Dev Corp. (PIDC), a subsidiary under San Miguel Corporation (SMC), holds the concession for the 89.3-km, of the four-lane TLPEX will ease up the traffic and improve interconnectivity between the major north Luzon destinations of Baguio, La Union, and Ilocos.
