They say technology will play a critical role in this time of pandemic as many people and businesses depend on it now due to the coronavirus pandemic.

While they are various technology available, collaboration and synergy between tech companies remain the game-changer, and this is what both NTT Ltd. and Cisco proved in its latest partnership not just to be technology efficient, but moreover, to have a technologically advanced and secured system.

NTT Ltd., a world-leading global technology services provider, announced that it is expanding its existing security services portfolio and reference architectures with Cisco, to provide enhanced secure networking to organizations around the world. During the global pandemic and now into the expected recovery phase, organizations need to move quickly to ensure their infrastructure, which was designed to support one way of working, can now keep a new remote and distributed workforce connected, productive and secure. This requires a Secure by Design approach to ensure agility, while at the same time not compromising the organization’s security posture.

NTT Ltd.’s managed security services incorporate a Secure Access Service Edge (SASE) architecture, which leverages the cloud-delivered firewall, now available with Cisco Umbrella, combined with Cisco’s SD-WAN (Software Defined Wide Area Network). NTT Ltd. will continue to support Cisco’s on-premise Next-Generation Firewall (NGFW) product and Firepower series appliances, across three global security services platforms: Threat Detection, Enterprise Security Monitoring, and Device Management.

Enhanced by Cisco’s latest technologies, NTT Ltd.’s managed security services provide additional protection by detecting unknown malicious activity through NTT Ltd.’s unique threat intelligence and AI detection capabilities. This will support alert correlation activity, optimize security controls, and enable organizations to prioritize their vulnerabilities.

World-leading global technology services provider, NTT Ltd., has announced the appointment of Ireen Catane as CEO for NTT Ltd. in the Philippines. Catane assumes the leadership role with immediate effect and will report to Kim-Meng Png, ASEAN CEO for NTT Ltd.

The appointment comes at an opportune time following the rebrand of DTSI Group and Dimension Data as NTT Ltd. on October 1, 2019, to offer clients in the Philippines greater depth in skills and capabilities across technologies, under a single, unified brand. Catane will helm the Philippine business with a focus on forging strong client relationships, delivering value to stakeholders, and talent development. In addition, she will lead the ongoing integration efforts of NTT Ltd. in the Philippines.

Catane joins NTT Ltd. spanning her 28 years of experience in the IT industry leading successful teams in brand management, channel distribution, business development, and client management. Prior to joining NTT Ltd., Catane held various country leadership roles in HP, Dell, IBM, and most recently as Enterprise Commercial Director at Microsoft Philippines.
