<p>There’s no stopping TOP as it continues its strong upward trajectory, posting ₱1.76 billion in revenues in the first quarter of 2026, up 75.4% from ₱1 billion in the same period last year.</p>

<p>Top Line Business Development Corp. sustained its robust expansion during the quarter, driven by higher fuel sales volumes, expanding retail operations, and continued demand from commercial clients.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-full"><img fetchpriority="high" decoding="async" width="604" height="340" src="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/TOPLINE-DEPOT-IN-CEBU.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-70284" srcset="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/TOPLINE-DEPOT-IN-CEBU.jpg 604w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/TOPLINE-DEPOT-IN-CEBU-300x169.jpg 300w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/03/TOPLINE-DEPOT-IN-CEBU-150x84.jpg 150w" sizes="(max-width: 604px) 100vw, 604px" /><figcaption class="wp-element-caption"><strong>TOP depot facility located at Mandaue City, Cebu. <p>The company’s net income climbed 64.3% to ₱62.27 million from ₱37.89 million, while gross profit surged 84.3% to ₱169.90 million from ₱92.16 million.</p>

<p>Total fuel sales volume rose 43.4% to 31.26 million liters from 21.80 million liters, reflecting the growing contribution of the company’s retail fuel business alongside steady commercial demand.</p>

<p>During a recent media briefing in Manila, TOP executives led by Chairman, President and CEO Eugene Erik Lim highlighted the company’s sustained expansion strategy and operational resilience.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="700" height="1024" src="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-700x1024.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-72577" srcset="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-700x1024.jpg 700w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-205x300.jpg 205w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-768x1124.jpg 768w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-1050x1536.jpg 1050w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-150x220.jpg 150w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-300x439.jpg 300w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-696x1019.jpg 696w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline-1068x1563.jpg 1068w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Erik-Topline.jpg 1094w" sizes="(max-width: 700px) 100vw, 700px" /></figure>

<p>“Our first-quarter performance reflects the strength and resilience of our business model. Commercial fuel trade remains our anchor, providing recurring income while ensuring reliable fuel supply to industrial clients that keep goods moving, equipment running, and supply chains operating across the Visayas,” Lim said.</p>

<p>He added that the company continues to expand in underserved markets where reliable fuel access remains critical to local commerce, transportation, and everyday mobility.</p>

<p>Commercial fuel trade remained TOP’s largest revenue contributor, generating ₱1.62 billion, or 92.2% of total revenues in the first quarter, representing a 67% increase from ₱970 million in the same period last year. Volume from the segment likewise grew 38% to 29.24 million liters from 21.17 million liters.</p>

<p>Meanwhile, TOP’s retail business under Light Fuels delivered triple-digit growth as the company accelerated expansion in underserved and emerging growth areas across the Visayas.</p>

<p>Retail revenues surged 332% to ₱137.20 million from ₱31.74 million, while retail sales volume jumped 220% to 2.03 million liters from 630,000 liters year-on-year.</p>

<p>The retail segment also posted improved profitability, with gross profit margin increasing to 16.80% from 11.44% in the same period last year, highlighting the higher-margin potential of TOP’s expanding retail operations.</p>

<p>Brigitte Carmel Lim, the company’s Senior Vice President and Chief Operating Officer, highlighted the strategic gains from Topline’s IPO expansion initiatives.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img decoding="async" width="1024" height="575" src="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-1024x575.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-72576" srcset="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-1024x575.jpg 1024w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-300x169.jpg 300w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-768x432.jpg 768w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-1536x863.jpg 1536w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-150x84.jpg 150w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-696x391.jpg 696w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline-1068x600.jpg 1068w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Brigette-Topline.jpg 1600w" sizes="(max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>“Our retail performance validates the strategic deployment of IPO proceeds for market penetration. We moved quickly when opportunities became available, accelerating our station rollout and boosting revenue contribution,” she said.</p>

<p>For her part, Atty. Constance Marie Lim, TOP’s First Vice President and Chief Financial Officer, said the company remains focused on disciplined expansion and long-term value creation.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="719" src="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline-1024x719.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-72575" srcset="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline-1024x719.jpg 1024w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline-300x211.jpg 300w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline-768x539.jpg 768w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline-150x105.jpg 150w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline-696x489.jpg 696w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline-1068x750.jpg 1068w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/05/Atty-Mikey-Topline.jpg 1410w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>“With disciplined inventory management and strategic capital deployment, we are strengthening the fundamentals of the business while expanding in markets that remain underserved. Our priority is to grow responsibly by maintaining financial discipline, supporting reliable fuel access, and generating long-term shareholder value,” she said.</p>

<p>Listed fuel distributor and retailer Top Line Business Development Corp. (TOP) has secured regulatory approvals from the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Philippine Stock Exchange (PSE) for its follow-on offering of perpetual preferred shares worth up to ₱1.5 billion.</p>

<p>The offering covers up to ₱1 billion in firm shares, equivalent to as many as 10,000,000 perpetual preferred shares, with an oversubscription option of up to ₱500 million or an additional 5,000,000 option shares.</p>

<p>The SEC, during its April 28, 2026, meeting, issued pre-effective clearance for TOP’s registration statement. This was followed by the PSE Board of Directors’ approval of the Company’s listing application on April 29, 2026. The listing is targeted for June 11, 2026, with an indicative offer price of up to ₱100.00 per share.</p>

<p>“This offering marks the next chapter in Top Line’s growth story. By accelerating our vertical integration strategy, we are building a more resilient and integrated business that can better serve our customers, capture greater margins, and support our regional expansion,” said Eugene Erik Lim, Chairman, President, and CEO of TOP.</p>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large"><img loading="lazy" decoding="async" width="1024" height="673" src="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--1024x673.jpg" alt="" class="wp-image-72061" srcset="https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--1024x673.jpg 1024w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--300x197.jpg 300w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--768x504.jpg 768w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--1536x1009.jpg 1536w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--150x99.jpg 150w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--696x457.jpg 696w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim--1068x701.jpg 1068w, https://thephilbiznews.com/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2026/04/Erik-Lim-.jpg 1556w" sizes="auto, (max-width: 1024px) 100vw, 1024px" /></figure>

<p>Proceeds from the issuance will fund the Company’s vertical integration strategy, particularly the expansion of importation facilities and depot storage capacity. These investments are expected to enhance procurement flexibility, strengthen supply stability, and improve margin capture across its fuel distribution and retail operations.</p>

<p>Based on the regulatory timetable, the offer period is scheduled from May 19 to June 1, 2026.</p>

<p>TOP has appointed PNB Capital and Investment Corporation as sole issue manager, and joint lead underwriter and joint bookrunner together with Security Bank Capital Investment Corporation for the transaction.</p>
