Ford Philippines once again dominated the pickup and small SUV segments with the strong sales of the Ford Ranger and Ford Territory last year. 

The Ford Ranger became the best-selling 4×4 pickup truck in 2020 with a market share of 41 percent in the 4×4 pickup segment. 

Full-year sales for the Ranger 4×4 pickup portfolio totaled 5,093 vehicles, or 52 percent of the total 9,767 Ranger sales in 2020. This drove Ford’s overall market share to 24 percent in the pickup segment, securing Ranger’s position as one of the two best-selling pickups in the market last year.

Ford currently offers a 4×4 variant for the Ranger XLS, FX4 and Wildtrak, including the Ranger Raptor, in its pickup portfolio, as it continues to serve the different needs, lifestyles and budget of its growing truck customer base. 

Last year, Ford Philippines expanded its truck portfolio with the launch of the new Ranger FX4 and a 4×4 variant, further widening the appeal of the Ranger among customers seeking for a tough and capable pickup. With the 4×4 variant, customers can enjoy a truck that they can take to extreme road conditions and challenging terrains. 

In 2020, Ford also made a successful comeback in the small SUV segment with the launch of the all-new Ford Territory. Full-year sales reached 1,925 vehicles, or a 33 percent share in the small SUV segment within a 5-month selling period. The Ford-engineered and designed SUV further boosts Ford’s SUV portfolio as it complements the needs and lifestyles of young professionals and starting families with its sleek and stylish look, impressive performance, and driver-assist features that elevate the SUV driving experience.

Further expanding its footprint in the SUV and pickup segments in the country, Ford also launched the Everest Trend, Everest Sport, and F-150 full-size pickup last year to cater to a diverse range of Filipino customers. 

With consumer demand for vehicles on an upswing towards the end of last year, fourth quarter sales surged 36 percent from the previous quarter to 5,411 vehicles, delivering full-year retail sales of 14,775 vehicles. December was the second best-selling month of the year with sales growing by 30 percent compared to the previous month with 1,847 vehicles.

Customers who will reserve or purchase a Ford vehicle from April 4 to 7, 2019 at MIAS or from any authorized Ford dealership nationwide will receive 3 raffle coupons. Customers who will purchase a Ford vehicle from April 8 to 30, 2019 from any authorized Ford dealership nationwide will receive 1 raffle coupon.

Special offers and deals available in April

On top of these exclusive deals, customers can still avail of various discounts and all-in low down payment offers for select Ford vehicles. The Ford Ranger 2.0L Bi-Turbo Wildtrak 4×4 AT is available with a retail discount of Php 60,000 or an all-in low down payment of Php 128,000. The Ranger 2.0L Turbo Wildtrak 4×2 AT is available for an all-in low down payment of Php 118,000 while the manual transmission variant is offered with an all-in low down payment of Php 109,000. Both Wildtrak 4×2 variants also come with a Php 40,000 retail discount.

Customers can also avail of the Everest 2.2L Titanium+ at 0% interest rate for up to 4 years or savings of up to Php 368,000.
