Through this collaboration with MPower, DMCI Homes is set to pioneer the adoption of RAP in the real estate sector by consolidating the demand of the common areas of its properties Rosewood Pointe Condominium in Taguig and Tivoli Garden Residences in Mandaluyong.

Meanwhile, its condominium developments, namely La Verti Residences, Sheridan Towers, One Castilla Place, Flair Towers, Zinnia Towers, and Tivoli Garden Residences, have made the switch to CREM and are now benefitting from MPower’s competitive rates.

Leaders from MPower, DMCI Homes Property Management Corporation (DPMC), Independent Electricity Market Operator of the Philippines (IEMOP), and the Energy Regulatory Commission (ERC) came together on June 16, 2025 for the ceremonial launch, marking the official commencement of this landmark joint initiative.

Under CREM, businesses with an electricity demand of at least 500 kilowatts have the option to select their electricity provider. RAP, on the other hand, is the latest customer choice program launched by the ERC to extend the competitive benefits of CREM to smaller electricity consumers such as residential buildings, by allowing them to form an aggregated group within the same franchise area to meet the minimum energy demand requirements.

MPower has been ramping up its efforts in improving its retail rates and quality of service to back ERC’s direction in ensuring that the customer choice programs are eventually made available to all energy consumers in the country as part of the Electricity Power Industry Reform Act.

Marking the event with a resounding success, reaching a total of 97 players have gathered, joined and prepared their swings on the golf course to win the championship.

During an interview at the tournament, Executive Director/Trustee Chris Nelson noted, “This is the 12th edition. It has become a feature of the British Chamber of Commerce [Philippines] to have golf. It brings together business people, our partners, and our members both in a fun activity and at the same time also continues to emphasize the British chamber representing businesses, both for British and non-British companies.“

Under the agreement, residents of DMCI Homes projects will be entitled to a 7% discount on all in-patient services availed at the main healthcare complex of The Medical City in Ortigas Avenue, Pasig City by virtue of the Community Privilege Program.

The discount program, which is now in effect, covers out-of-pocket costs of residents, excluding professional fees, medicines and package procedures.

The Medical City AVP for Relationship Management and Business Development Emelie Escasinas said residents just need to present their temporary accommodation slip at the Billing Department 24 hours before discharge to avail of the discount.

“Even if you have an existing health card or are engaged with health maintenance organizations (HMOs), you will be entitled to a community discount by The Medical City for those out of pocket expenses,” she explained.

As part of the partnership, The Medical City will also be touring DMCI Homes condo communities to hold educational forums on wellness and preventive health programs to enable residents to take optimal care of their well-being, which is the main advocacy of the Community Privilege Program.

“DMCI Homes advocates community development, lifestyle development, and even neighborhood development, which is very much aligned with what we do in The Medical City,” Escasinas said.

DMCI Homes Property Management Corporation (DPMC) Senior Vice President Enrico C. Wong, for his part, welcomed the company’s partnership with The Medical City noting its wide-ranging benefits to residents of DMCI Homes condo communities.

“We’re very happy with our partnership with The Medical City because aside from offering the community discount, they will also be holding awareness programs for our projects which will help our residents be better informed in taking care of their health,” Wong said.
