In these times when the coronavirus, our invisible enemy, lurks in our midst, one cannot avoid being concerned about health and safety risks when leaving home.

But as the Christmas holiday draws closer, many of us will need to take a break from the humdrum of this lockdown and turn our stay-at-home lives into staycation dreams.

For Okada Manila, opening its doors in 2016 was an undertaking that was considered by others as a top one given the fact that there were already many players in the hospitality industry. Nonetheless, the goal to make it a place where Filipinos and international visitors can take in the revelries of modern hospitality and entertainment in Asia’s biggest integrated resort happened slowly but surely. Their goals to establish Okada Manila as a world-class destination, creating new experiences and iconic landmarks for guests from around the world has spread like a wildfire, and Okada being an enviable landmark in the Entertain City has made everyone wish to visit the place. From the colorful and enchanting dancing fountains to the spacious property nestled at the 44 hectares that are not only dazzling during day time, but also mesmerizing at night.

Consequently, after four years of operations, Okada Manila received the highest accolade in the hospitality industry from the Forbes Travel Guide’s 2020 Star Awards. This immense feat is largely owed to the patronage of our loyal guests and the complete dedication of our team members. This award comes with a great responsibility to look after the people who have been instrumental in our success, most especially during these challenging times.

As Okada Manila prepares to open its doors once again, they came up with a mantra called “True Clean. True Safe. True Heart.” The 3T campaign explicitly assures their guests a safe and memorable stay. Drawn from Okada Manila’s core principles of magokoro (true heart) and omotenashi (sincere service). It’s not just a campaign or play of words, but rather a truth to the commitment of taking care of every guest that steps in at Okada Manila.

Brandishing their new operational protocols that are thoughtfully developed and implemented in compliance with the guidelines set by the Inter-Agency Task Force (IATF), the Department of Tourism (DOT), the national government, and the local government of Parañaque City. Recently, the DOT granted Okada Manila the Certificate to Operate for Staycations (CAOS), allowing the resort to operate in a limited capacity after thorough inspections and evaluations.

It is noteworthy to reveal that Okada’s 3T manual is the first of its kind among other integrated resorts in the Philippines in terms of handling health and safety in the time of COVID-19. With a goal that is not solely based on the implementation of new safety protocols so that they can confidently resume their operations and keep their guests and team members safe as they come back to Okada Manila.

Taking pride in being a world-class destination, acclaimed and well-loved for our iconic fusion of Filipino-Japanese hospitality, Okada Manila steps into a new phase in hospitality and confidently face the challenges brought about by the new normal and vows to continue to keep this to heart. Standing for their commitment to the truth policy on safety, cleanliness, and service with a heart. Hence, the birth of  “True Clean. True Safe. True Heart.” at Okada Manila guarantees that you have a safe and memorable stay.
