After crushing Kazakhstan Team 96-59 in Asian Games, the Philippine Basketball Team will be facing the power house China. But what is exciting to the Filipino fans is the debut of Cleveland Cavaliers guard Jordan Clarkson tomorrow with China.
Clarkson who expects to add power to the Gilas Pilipinas Philippine Team would certainly give the Chinese Team some problems specially in and our of the shaded areas.
For Coach Yeng Guiao, who is also excited to see how Clarkson would blend perfectly in the whole Philippine Team said, “This is going to be an exciting ballgame with China for sure. Clarkson and the Philippine Team and all our Filipino fans look forward to give China an exciting ball game tomorrow.”
China is a power house. We are hoping that we can also apply our leech like defense, and be able to get more contributions from all our players. Our game with Kazakhstan was a big boost to our team’s morale. Banking on our new players Pringle and Ahanmisi, we hope to see other players to contribute not only in defense but most of all in offense.
When asked whether Gilas Pilipinas Team can replicate the same intensity of game they played with Kazakhstan this coming Tuesday against China. Guaio said, “Let’s keep our finger’s cross and pray for the entire Philippine team. I am sure, this is going to be an exciting game. That is all I can say now.”
